Eclectic Mid-Century, Piedmont
Our client, an architect, was completing a major renovation of her mid-century modern home. Designed with a focus on outdoor spaces, the house offers gorgeous views of the Bay, set against a backdrop of Acacia trees. Her goal for us was simple: design the living room and dining room to feel unique and natural.
In the dining room, we placed a custom tree trunk table topped with zinc. A hand-blown glass light fixture above the table accentuates the bay view. We used wood grain as a key theme, merging it with dark finishes, silk, velvet, and an antique mirror to bring everything together.
The living room now showcases our selection of antique accessories, commissioned artwork, and custom furniture. This combination uplifts the modern design of the home while adding a touch of tradition, bringing the aesthetic to a new level of vibrancy.
